Position Description: 

The Gildersleeve laboratory at the National Cancer Institute has an opening for a postdoctoral fellow starting on or after October 1, 2021. The goal of our research program is to develop and investigate carbohydrate-binding antibodies for cancer applications.  We use glycan microarray technology as well as chemical, biochemical, and molecular biology approaches to design and develop new carbohydrate-binding antibodies as research tools, diagnostics, and therapeutics.  For this particular postdoctoral position, candidates with experience carrying out chemical and/or chemoenzymatic synthesis of carbohydrates are especially encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Chemical Biology, Carbohydrate Chemistry, or related field

Less than 1 year of prior postdoctoral experience
