The Complex Carbohydrate Research Center (CCRC) at the University of Georgia is seeking a talented and motivated scientist to join our Service, Collaboration and Training Laboratory. This non-tenure track faculty position offers a unique opportunity to lead innovative research and training in glycobiology and carbohydrate science.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop novel analytical methods for glycoprotein and polysaccharide characterization using MS, HPLC, HPAEC, and NMR.
  • Supervise and mentor lab staff, postdocs, and research professionals.
  • Collaborate with external investigators and contribute to high-impact publications.
  • Lead training courses and workshops in glycoscience.
  • Pursue independent research funding.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Glycobiology, Molecular Biology, or a related field.Strong background in structural analysis of glycoconjugates and glycobiology
  • Experience in project leadership and scientific communication.
