The 2024 Meeting of the Society for Glycobiology will bring together leading glycobiologists from around the world to discuss a wide range of topics including the structure and function of various glycans, the involvement of glycans in pathogenesis, and the latest technologies used to study glycosylation-related processes. The scientific program will include an exciting series of plenary lectures, short talks, and poster presentations from invited speakers and participants who are conducting cutting edge research in the glycosciences.

You can expect to learn about the latest glycobiology research through the following meeting sessions:

  • Utilizing high-throughput analytical approaches to define and uncover glycoconjugate functions
  • Utilizing structural analyses to reveal and modulate functions of glycans/glycoconjugates
  • Utilizing genetic tools to determine and alter functions of glycoenzymes and glycoconjugates
  • Utilizing AI/ML/Comp Sci in glycoscience
  • Uncovering novel regulation and function of GAGs and proteoglycans
  • Towards therapeutic interventions in CDG/CMDs
  • Glycoconjugates modulating infection and immunity
  • Functions for Intracellular Glycoconjugates

In addition to the formal meeting sessions, there will be a Trainee Mentoring Program and Satellite scientific sessions offered on the opening day of the meeting.

We hope you can join us at the beautiful Omni Amelia Island Resort in Florida this year !
