Postdoctoral Research PositionThe Position: The Abbott Lab at Arkansas Colleges of Health Education in the new Research Institute Health and Wellness Center invites applications for a postdoctoral research position. The Abbott lab is studying Notch glycosylation and the role of Notch glycans in ovarian cancer. Our new research facility has state-of-the-art instrumentation including a new vivarium with MRI, CT, and IVIS imaging. This project will use glycoproteomic methods to identify Fringe glycosyltransferase substrates in ovarian cancer. We will develop novel therapeutics for ovarian cancer targeting O-fucose glycosylation. This post-doc will be part of a cross-collaborative team with investigators at the University of Arizona and the University of Mississippi that is focused on the development of novel tumor targeted Notch therapeutics for cancer. .
