Abstracts

Abstract submissions will last until August 4, 2014. THIS IS A HARD DEADLINE. There will be no extensions this year for the regular abstracts to be considered for publication in the journal, Glycobiology.

Late breaking abstract submissions will begin August 25, 2014 and last until September 19, 2014. Late breaking abstracts will not appear in the journal, Glycobiology, but rather will be printed in the meeting program.

No abstracts can be accepted after September 19, 2014.

Length: Limit 350 words (not including title, authors, and affiliations)
Figures: DO NOT includes figures or tables 
Editing: Be sure your abstract is in final form. We cannot edit your abstract after it has been entered. It will be printed in the
Glycobiology Journal as submitted.
Formatting: When submitting your abstract, utilize the WYSIWYG tool and cut and paste UNFORMATTED text from
a word doc into the abstract submission tool for best results. You will be able to add greek characters and format within the
tool. (Note: Notepad or similar tools can strip all formats from text, and can be used in this manner.)
You must register for the meeting prior to submitting an abstract.
There is a $30 abstract submission fee per abstract. You may pay for and submit multiple abstracts.
Have the title, authors, and affiliations ready to enter online.
Follow the directions provided and proceed from one page to the next. Be sure to indicate the abstract topic and whether you wish to be considered for a brief oral presentation.
Carefully preview and edit what you have entered as you proceed. After the abstract is submitted it cannot be changed. When you are satisfied with you abstract, click the "Submit" button.
Poster notifications will be sent to the submitting author only. Submitting authors are responsible for forwarding any information to co-authors if applicable. 
The late breaking submission period will follow directly after the regular submission period.

Your abstract number and poster board number were sent in your original notification email.

You may display your poster for the entire conference. Please make sure your poster is ready for presentation on your session day and that all materials are removed at the break-down time listed above.  Your display space is 4ft x 4ft (1.2mx1.2m). Push pins will be provided on-site and a full labeled floor plan will be in your program book for easy location of your board. Please see the image shown here for an example of your display area and plan accordingly to bring materials that can fit on this display space.
